Your first stop will take you to the famous Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, one of the oldest botanical gardens in the southern hemisphere. A true green setting, it houses an impressive collection of tropical plants from the four corners of the world, including the famous giant water lilies, majestic royal palms, spice trees and numerous endemic species. You will then continue towards Port-Louis, capital of Mauritius. Between colonial buildings, traditional markets and modern neighborhoods, the city perfectly reflects the cultural diversity of the island. Stroll through the central market where spices, exotic fruits, local crafts and Mauritian specialties mingle before reaching the Citadel, a historic fortification dominating the city. From its ramparts, you will enjoy an exceptional panorama of Port-Louis, its port and the surrounding mountain range. In the afternoon, head to Grand Baie, an emblematic seaside resort renowned for its lively atmosphere, elegant boutiques, cafés and marina. The day will end at the famous Cap Malheureux, undoubtedly one of the most photographed places in Mauritius. Its small church with a red roof, facing the turquoise lagoon and the northern islets, offers an absolutely emblematic setting. Return to the hotel at the end of the afternoon.
